MESH is hiring an Administrative Operations Assistant.

Studio Mesh is looking for an Administrative Operations Assistant to assist in the day-to-day operations of our design studios. You will be working directly with the owner, the Operations Manager, MESH team, external vendors and clients.


Support the Operations Manager and Owner/Creative Director on coordination of client projects and administrative tasks, and on a day-to-day basis as needed

Schedule support (including setting up meetings in Google calendar)

Meeting prep for team members, and note-taking/documentation during meetings

Organize, update, and manage our internal documents and databases in Google Drive and Dropbox

Facilitate the collection of client content and creative assets (photography, brand guidelines, written content, etc)

Studio space management as needed

Manage digital media platforms as needed (including posting to our social media and occasional content updates in WordPress)


Great time management for yourself, and for others; ability to multitask; and ability to schedule for projects, support team member scheduling, and make deadlines

Organizational skills, including note-taking and filing, maintaining project documents and assets, and facilitating delivery of project deliverables

Analytical and problem solving skills, in order to solve problems that arise day-to-day in an office setting

Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Eagerness to take on increasing responsibilities, grow, and learn

Comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment

Comfortable taking initiative and managing schedules from multiple offices, freelancers, and remote workers

Comfortable with technology + online communication, including (If you have not used these, you are open to learning them!):

• Google Calendar (for scheduling)

• Google Docs and Dropbox (for file sharing)

• Trello (for project management)

• Slack (for internal communication)

• WordPress Content Management System (for website management)

• Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (for client and internal accounts)     



• Bachelor’s level degree, preferably in a creative or creative management field

• Background in, or understanding of, design work and website projects, with a focus in WordPress

• 2 years experience working in an administrative position or related field

• Previous experience cooperating with Project Managers for the delivery of projects

• A plus: Experience or love of design a major plus, especially in branding, print and digital design + love of socially driven design work
